David Marvuglio

The backbone of modern pop, rock or jazz music is without a doubt the BASS and there is no one more capable of laying it down greasy… than David. Having graduated Berklee coledge of Music in 2010 David has embarked upon a musical journey taking him around the world playing upright and electric bass with the likes of Gary Karr, Emily Peal and The Band of Skinny Men, Ice Nine Kills, Lincoln Goines, The Smyrk, Bill Pierce, The Narrative and many others. Some of his private studies include  Paul Jackson, Esperanza Spalding, Gary Karr, Matthew Garrison and Lincoln Goinesthan.  In 2012 David was the recipient of the coveted Uchida Fellowship Grant allowing for his continued study in Japan of traditional Japanese music. David’s ever expanding quest for musical knowledge is an assurance to all who study with him that the information imparted to them is meant to truly enhance their own journey.
